LE REDÉPLOIEMENT INDUSTRIEL EN ALGÉRIE : ENTRE RECONQUÊTE ET ADAPTATION
Main Article Content
Abstract
The purpose of this publication is to show the extent to which the Algerian industry is able to integrate beneficialy into the global economy. Such a demonstration is possible only when highlighted, through a historical analysis of the different industrial strategies adopted and their performance, the real constraints faced by the Algerian industry. In this case, it is clear that the implementation of the strategy of "industrializing industries" during the 1970s has not led to an improvement in the structure of foreing trade. Also, neither the organic restructuring of the early 1980s, neither the economic reforms of the 1990s, could not successfully exit the Algerian industry of its crisis. In fact, the basic problem of the Algerian industry has often been ignored, namely its extraversion, and this is due to the fact all the past reforms focused morte on institutional and political aspects as industrial aspects: there is not a real strategy of specialization and adaptation of Algerian industry into the global industrial system.
