L’ÉNERGIE SOLAIRE UN MOTEUR DU DÉVELOPPEMENT DURABLE EN ALGÉRIE
Main Article Content
Abstract
Recently, solar energy is proving to be one of the alternative solutions to our dependence on fossil fuels, this clean, inexhaustible energy can provide ten thousand times more energy than that consumed by the entire world population. As a result, developing this sector remains a priority for many countries in order to achieve sustainable development on these three dimensions: economic, social and environmental. Thus, our study consists of evaluating the contribution of solar energy to sustainable development in Algeria. To do this, we opted for a descriptive and analytical methodology that led us to conclude that the achievements of solar energy projects in Algeria-dominated by photovoltaic, remain timid not exceeding 375 MW, nevertheless this installed capacities has managed to solve some environmental and socio-economic problems that hinder the country, which requires more willingness to correct the mechanisms of its development and achieve the desired results.
