DÉTERMINANTS DE L’INNOVATION DANS LES PME AGROALIMENTAIRES

Abstract
This paper shows that determinants of product-innovation are different from process-innovation and organizational-innovation determinants. In the case of product-innovation, the strongest determinants are inside the SME (Small and Medium sized Enterprise). In agro business industry, product-innovations seem relatively easy, which encourage SME to develop innovations inside the firm in order to protect them. Outside firm determinants (such as institutional environment) rise only in the case of organizational-innovation. Innovation process appears as collective learning process in that case. Besides, agro SME of our sample seem not involved in process-innovation.
