ÉVALUATION DE L’ECONOMIE SOUTERRAINE EN ALGERIE

Abstract

Knowing the economy figures prominently among the many challenges posed by the macro-economic measure in developing countries particularly when the data for a statistical approach are lacking. This paper defines the various concepts of the underground economy according to SNA 1993. It also describes the mechanisms that promote the growth of this kind of economy. Finaly, it presents a simple empirical analysisi that integrates and measures the underground economy as part of the overall economy of the country and brings a different approach to certain macro-economic concepts.  The results seem to confirm the hypothessis of analysisi and help to define the dynamics of the undergorund economy in Algeria by studing growth factors and stating the implications in the choises of economic policy decisions.
