Abstract
This papers draws on first interpretations of three studies currently conducted in Arab countries concerning the use of email by executives (in Tunisia, Morocco and Lebanon).
The research design is presented by underlining the importance of hypotheses in developing the study. The choice between quantitative and qualitative techniques is also discussed in order to evaluate impacts on business variables. It is important to further develop research design in order to analyze the use of these new technological advances, most especially in terms of new value scales which measure parameters used in managing from a distance.
