INNOVATION ET ÉCONOMIE DE MARCHÉ EN ALGÉRIE CAS DES IAA

Abstract
This paper analyses innovation's determinants in a context of economic liberalisation. We base on data collected from a survey of a sample of agrofood companies in Algeria. Liberalisation reforms undertaken
since the mid 90's generated two major modifications in Algeria's economy. The first modification concerns the structure of supply, which evolved in favor of the private sector. The other modification is materialised by a revival of domestic demand. In the context of emerging competition, we base on Schmookler's demand-pull model to show that innovations produced by algerian companies find their roots in the characteristic of domestic demand.
