It seems that the expansionary fiscal policy in Algeria, especially since 2000, has had a non-Keynesian results through the appearance of crowdingout effects. It means the relative ability of the impact of fiscal policy on macroeconomic variables. Concerning the period before the launch of public investment programs, Algeria has restored financial balances, following a deterioration, due to the strict application of the recommendations of the structural adjustment program (SAP) (1994 - 198). These actions haven't a positive effect on economic growth but also a negative one on social area.
