Abstract

The paper contributes to the literature dealing with the relationship between the Integration Theory and the FDI, by analysing the Euro-Mediterranen model. THis research starts by a simple hypotheisis that the Southen Mediterranean (SOM) contries have missed the extraordinary surge of private international investement in recent yeras. This situation had to a correlation between a many factors and the level of foreign direct investment flows. Finally, our results identifies an cluster of policy initiatives that could create and economic environment, point out the quality of institutions in a broad as a major determinant of inward FDI in the region.
