Abstract
In Algeria, companies are not innovative. This is particularly due to the absence of an incentive environment for innovation. The environment contributes more to intensify the behavioral and institutional rigidities in innovation. The company is an integral part of institutional environment; its scope is limited by the nature of this environment. The latter plays a deterministic role in the innovation by its role as a transmitter ok knowledge catalyst interaction and supplier opportunities
