THE TECHNOLOGICAL IN THE ALGERIAN COMPANY SITUATION AND OUTLOOK

Abstract

Since the implementation of economic reforms consistent with this liberalization of the economy, the Algerian companies were led to revise their policies for growth and their management. The establishment of a new approach within the firms is to be vigilant and attentive vis-à-vis the technological, scientific and technical environment and is likely to be essential to find opportunities of access to technology,  knowledges and know-how. The establishment of such an approach (technology watch) would imply a profound determination of ways of working but also to organize work. Hence our questioning: it is to examine sociologically the field in order to know first if the technology watch is a real managerial concern within Algerian firms, in other words, what are the factors that prompted the firm managers to implement this function?
