Main Article Content
Abstract
The department of Niangoloko, located at the South-west of Burkina Faso, is a border zone of Ivory Coast and conducive to agro-pastoral activities. It was marked these last years by a massive surge of the returnees from Ivory Coast following the recent economic crisis, social and policies that this country knew. Once in the zone of reception, the search of a ground for culture becomes for these migrants the central concern. The access to the ground which crowns the success of the migration process is an important stage of their insertion in the company of reception. This social integration is supported by the presence of well established social networks. However, the rise and the development of land tenure conflictual practices especially as from the 1990s are revealing a difficult rural insertion of the migrants of return.
