Abstract

Food security needs to be restored on the international agenda as a top-priority action. Both development and future globale stability strongly depend on this multidimensional and cross-cutting issue. The Medterranean especially demonstrates these concerns, as every kind of agricultural and food supply pressure existing throughout the world is exacerbated in this region. It is therefore necessary to analyze the Medterranean's agricultural and geopolitical problems, as well as the development strategies of main actors, to conduct a relevant analysis of the stakes and trends occuring in the region.
