The Impact Of The Socio-economic Factors On The Participation Of Smes To Territorial Development In Algeria: Local Agri-food System-based Approach

Abstract

This article explores the main factors that influence the participation of SMEs in territorial development in the Mitidja region (Blida). We then undertook a quantitative statistical survey and econometric study using binomial logistic modeling from a sample of 110 companies. The empirical study revealed external socio-economic factors affecting the participation of SMEs in territorial development. That prompted us to discuss the applicability of an SYAL to the spatial and territorial scale of Blida wilaya.
