LE LE FINANCEMENT INFORMEL DES EXPLOITATIONS AGRICOLES EN ALGÉRIE : UN ESSAI DE CARACTÉRISATION DES PRINCIPALES PRATIQUES

Abstract

The informal financing in the agricultural sector in Algeria is today a reality very poorly known and even less analyzed. Its existence is mentioned only to explain phenomena and that the figures do not official data. Whole swathes of the reality of operating in the agricultural sector have thus ignored and uncontrolled. This article argues that the informal financing in the agricultural sector in Algeria is practised across four broad categories of transactions : a loan between private parties,supplier credit, sales up with pre­funding, production association. Through data from an empirical study, which has affected 400 farmers in four different wilayas, a characterization of these four practices informal financing is proposed is an initial estimate of their relative importance in the financing of farms is attempted.
